I travelled to Australia in 1985 and there discovered the world of fitness, exercise and nutrition which was at that time a world away from my home town of Leeds! My immediate love of the different classes I tried and the feel good factor after the session led to me wanting to train to 'spread the word'!
 
Through the Australian Council of Health Physical Education and Recreation I undertook courses in Aerobics, Weight Training, Gym Instruction, Step and Aquafit which I have taught since 1990 following on with Spinning and Pilates in 1993.
 
Since returning to the UK and moving to the South Hams in 1996 I have focused more on Pilates doing workshops in Body Control, Stott and Fitness Pilates, all of which I include in my Pilates classes. 
 
Since 2005 I have taken one on one clients with great results and various options designed with the individual in mind from running to stretch and pilates sessions and nutritional advice.
